The NNPC/NewcrossEP Joint Venture (JV), commissioned its first legacy project – The Construction of a block of 4 units of self-contained guest house in Idama community, Port-Harcourt, Rivers State, on the 3rd of September 2020.

This CSR Initiative is aimed at improving the developmental needs of our host communities, and fostering harmonious relationship existing between NNPC/NewcrossEP JV and the Idama community.

High officials from the River state Government and our host community, were in attendance – including commissioners, house of representative members and key community leaders. NNPC/NewcrossEP JV was also equally represented at the event.

The Project Supervisor – Rex Brotobor NewcrossEPs Engineer led the King and other dignitaries present on a tour of the commissioned project.

During the event, Honorable Lolo Opuende Isaiah was given the honor of cutting the ribbon to unveil the project, on behalf of the community. In his speech, he commended NewcrossEP for completing the project within the expected delivery time and appreciated the JV for initiating activities that fosters peaceful coexistence among the host community.

Overall, Community and External Relations are happy to report a successful event.
