Incorporated in 2013, Newcross Energy is a wholly owned indigenous company with strong business rationale and a proactive management team. It was founded by its Parent company – Newcross Petroleum.
Newcross Energy, in partnership with Gas Train (Owel-Linkso Group), Platform Petroleum Limited (PPL) and MOS Energy, holds a 12.5% equity in the PNG Gas Plant.
The Gas plant has contributed significantly towards impacting the energy requirement in Nigeria whilst also positively impacting the rate of deforestation by supplying an alternative energy source to consumers.

Operations
Newcross Energy holds minority interest in the 30 million standard cubic feet LPG/Propane processing plant installed in 2011.
The plant is located at Ebedei, Delta State, Nigeria and offtakes Wet Gas from the Platform Petroleum/Newcross JV (Egbaoma) Flow Station. Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG), Natural Gas Liquids (NGL), Lean gas and Excess Propane are stripped from the gas streams for various offtakes.
